Sporting Lisbon have signed forward Ricky van Wolfswinkel from Utrecht on a five-year contract for a transfer fee of €5.4 million.
The Portuguese stock market commission (CMVM) made the announcement on Friday that they have been informed by Sporting about the deal.
The CMVM further added that the release clause of the 22-year-old is €22m. His contract at Utrecht was due to run out in June 2013.
