Besiktas attacking midfielder Guti has stated he will end up in either Los Angeles or New York should he leave the Istanbul-based Turkish Super Liga side in the summer.
The former Real Madrid player exclusively revealed the news on his official Twitter account with the following statement:
"Los Angeles, New York or Istanbul will be my destination next year. I have decided nothing yet but in a month everything will be decided."
Should Guti make the move to the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Major League Soccer outfit would have to release one of their three designated players, namely Landon Donovan, Juan Pablo Angel or David Beckham.
An alternative and altogether more unlikely scenario would be for the Galaxy to sign Guti and offer him the league's basic salary.
Guti, who is 34 years old, moved to Turkey last summer after spending fifteen years at the Bernabeu, making over 400 appearances.
