Malaga to tie up River Plate striker Diego Buonanotte and Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito today.
The ambitious Andalucian club have already secured deals for the likes of Julio Baptista and Martin Demichelis in the current transfer window, but now it appears two more South Americans are on their way to La Rosaleda.
Marca comments that 22-year-old Buonanotte is expected to agree terms on a €5 million switch after discussions progressed long into last night, and the deal should be agreed later this afternoon [Friday].
Meanwhile, Barcelona defender Milto, who requested a short-term loan move in order to gather first team minutes prior to the forthcoming Copa America this summer, is close to finalising his switch.
The 30-year-old stopper should officially make his departure on Friday, with his agent currently in discussions with both parties, with Milito thought to been convinced by the club’s set-up.
He will be Malaga’s sixth addition of the current transfer window, and the possibility of another arrival, Mahamadou Diarra from Real Madrid, remains in the balance, with the player currently back home in Mali.
