Juventus are keeping tabs on Villarreal left-back Joan Capdevila, according to the player’s agent.

The Bianconeri are seeking reinforcement for the full-back position and appear to have identified the Spain international as the perfect candidate.

The World Cup winner’s current contract with the Spanish club is due to expire in June and Juve want to lure the defender to Italy.

Speaking to Calciomercato.com, Capdevila’s agent Horacio Gaggioli said, “The prospect of a renewal is not to be ruled out.

“We have reached an agreement to speak with the club at the end of November.

“Nevertheless, Joan is playing at a very high level and many teams would like to sign him.

“I know that Juventus are interested, but also other teams like Schalke, Valencia and several Premier League clubs,” he concluded.
