Inter could try to sign some promising Premier League players when the transfer window reopens in January.
By Subhankar Mondal
Italian and European champions Inter are interesting in securing the services of Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill in January, according to reports.
Fcinternews.it claims that Nerazzurri coach Rafael Benitez will try to convince his employers to give him some funds during the winter transfer period so that he can sign Cahill from Bolton. The 24-year-old featured for England against Bulgaria in a Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday.
Other names linked with the Nerazzurri are left-back Leighton Baines of Everton, Jack Wilshere of Arsenal and Gary Gardner of Aston Villa - both midfielders.
Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva was also linked with a move to the Beneamata in the summer but manager Roy Hodgson reportedly decided to jettison the deal.
