Werder Bremen offensive midfielder Aaron Hunt has confirmed that one day he wishes to ply his trade in the Premier League during an interview with Bild.

A once-capped German international, Hunt has affirmed his intention to move away from the Bundesliga to try his hand in England.

“For me, England is only a league more attractive [than the Bundesliga,” he said. “The stadiums, the fans, the atmosphere in the Bundesliga are very, very good.”

Asked if he would one day like to make the jump to the Premier League, he said: “I've only just renewed [my contract] but at some point this is an option. Part of my family comes from England, and the Premier League appeals to me.”

Twenty-three-year-old Hunt believes that Mesut Oezil “has done nothing wrong” in trading Werder for Real Madrid in the summer. “He’s not going to Real because of money,” the No.14 stated. “Real is the most famous club in the world, so no one should label him. He wanted to take the next step, and I wish him luck.”

Hunt has established himself as a first team player at the Weserstadion, turning out over 100 times for the Werder first team.
