Hearts defender Marius Zaliukas admits that his future is up in the air.
By Subhankar Mondal
Heart of Midlothian captain Marius Zaliukas has revealed that his future with the Scottish club is wrapped in uncertainty as a contract extension is yet to be agreed upon.
Zaliukas' contract expires in December and although he has been in negotiations with club owner Vladimir Romanov and even met with him ahead of Lithuania's Euro 2012 qualifier against Scotland, nothing concrete has emerged yet.
Sky Sports quotes the 26-year-old as saying, "We had a chat but nothing was solved. Now that I'm the captain of course I'm enjoying it over there but we will see what is going to be."
"This is football, I need to deal with everything that comes my way," he concluded.
