Official: Sporting CP Sign Timo Hildebrand and Tales De Souza
Goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand and midfielder Tales joined Sporting CP in the closing hours of the transfer window.

At the eleventh hour of the transfer season, Sporting CP managed to make two signings: free agent goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand has joined the Portuguese side, as has Tales de Souza, who comes on a loan deal from Internacional de Porto Alegre.
Speaking to his new club's official website, Hildebrand expressed his delight in signing his new contract.
"I think that Sporting is the right club for me. I was hoping to receive a few offers, especially because I was without a contract, and I am really happy that Sporting is interested in me," the German goalkeeper said. "This is a great chance to continue showing what I am worth, but in another country."
"I am going to give my best to help Sporting."
Hildebrand, 31, joins Sporting after an 18-month stint at Hoffenheim. Tales, 20, has made eight appearances for Brazil's U-20 squad, scoring twice. The midfielder had yet to earn a regular starting role at Internacional and has set his sights on first-team footbal in Portugal.
