Official: Blackpool Sign Australian International David Carney From FC Twente
Utility man pens one-year deal...
The 26-year-old, who has played for seven different clubs so far in his career, was recently a part of the Twente squad that managed to win the Eredivisie title for the first time in their history.
Following the accomplishment, Carney had been linked with a move away from Netherlands, and the Seasiders have now snapped him up.
Speaking to the club's official website, Carney, who has agreed to a one-year deal at Bloomfield Road, is pleased to finally seal the move.
He said: "It has been a busy 24 hours but I am delighted it is done now and I am looking forward to getting out there playing. The way Blackpool play suits me and I am looking forward to meeting the lads and getting started."
