Bologna have appointed Alberto Malesani on a one-year deal, just days after sacking Franco Colomba as coach.
The former Siena boss takes the reigns at the Dall'Ara and confirmation of his appointment arrived from his agent Carmine Longo, who told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Malesani has signed a one-year contract."
Malesani arrived at Bologna's Casteldebole training ground on Wednesday evening to begin his new adventure and he will be unveiled by the club this afternoon.
The coach will find new arrival Diego Perez, and he will be assisted by his trusted number two Ezio Sella with whom he worked alongside at Udinese, Empoli and Siena.
