Spanish Primera Division side Espanyol have made permanent the signing of Argentinian striker Pablo Osvaldo, after agreeing a €5 million transfer with Italian side Bologna.
The 24-year-old has already made a positive impact at the Cornella El Prat in Barcelona, scoring seven goals in 20 league appearances during last season's loan spell before adding two more in Sunday's home win over Getafe and has now put pen to paper on a five year deal with the Blanc i Blau.
A statement on the Catalan club's official website reads:
"The striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is a RCD Espanyol player in all respects after an agreement was reached with Bologna. Osvaldo is committed to Espanyol for the next five seasons."
Osvaldo joined Bologna in January 2009 but was farmed out on loan to Espanyol one year later. Earlier this summer Bologna and Espanyol reached an agreement for the 24-year-old to remain with the Catalans on loan for the 2010-11 campaign, and now it's been made a permanent deal.
