Real Madrid's Royston Drenthe will join Hercules on loan this season...
By Subhankar Mondal
Newly promoted Spanish Primera Division club Hercules have signed Royston Drenthe from Real Madrid on a season-long loan deal.
Drenthe joined Real Madrid in 2007 and although he has proved himself to be a good utility player on the left hand side, he has yet to earn a concrete place in the starting line-up.
The 23-year-old has now been shipped off to Hercules for the 2010-11 campaign, the Blancos have confirmed via their official website. Madrid have been looking to offload a player before the close of the summer transfer window and now they have the stipulated 25 players in their squad.
