Newly promoted Serie A club Cesena have strenghtened themselves by signing striker Igor Budan from Palermo and midfielder Luis Jimenez from Ternana, it's been announced on Tuesday.
The Croatian striker has been signed on a season-long loan deal and will now attempt to help Cesena avoid relegation. Budan joined Palermo in 2008 from Parma but failed to find a regular place in the starting line-up.
Meanwhile, Jimenez also joins on a temporary loan basis to bolster the midfield. The Chilean featured at Parma in the second-half of last season and has plenty of experience in Serie A - featuring for Inter, Fiorentina, and Lazio as well during his career.
He also had a short unsuccessful spell with West Ham United, but they eventually canceled their loan deal prematurely.
