Napoli are about to snap up Nicolao Dumitru from Empoli, who have confirmed a co-ownership deal with the club.
The 18-year-old has sparked a variety of interest with Juventus, Inter and Fiorentina all said to be keen.
But Napoli have won the race to sign him.
"I am really happy to be joining Napoli. I am heading to sign my contract now," the hitman told Tuttonapoli.net.
That was echoed by Empoli's general director Pino Vitale who told Radio Kiss Kiss: "We are very close for Dumitru to Napoli. There is good intention from both clubs and the deal will be a co-ownership."
