Barcelona Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic Would Be Ideal For Milan - Chelsea Coach Carlo Ancelotti
Chelsea boss tells Milan to land former Inter ace...
By Salvatore Landolina
Italian media have reported Ibrahimovic as having agreed terms with Milan, but the official line from the clubs and his agent Mino Raiola so far is that it is still too early to hypothesise.
'Ibra' has a four-year deal with Barcelona, but Adriano Galliani revealed he has a meeting with the Catalan giants planned for Wednesday as he gets down to business.
And Ancelotti has told the Italian to execute a deal, revealing he almost signed him during his days on the Rossoneri bench.
"Ibrahimovic to Milan? I don't know. I am not their CEO and so it's not for me to answer. But I think he would do well there," Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.
"When I was there I wanted him, but then the deal collapsed. I don't know what happened. He could have done well for us.
"He is a good player and could fit in at Milan."
Chelsea were linked with Inter stopper and Roma target Nicolas Burdisso, but Ancelotti has pulled the shutters down on that window of opportunity.
"Burdisso to Chelsea? We have three top defenders in our team and we don't need more defenders like Burdisso," he concluded.
