The Cameroon World Cup star is being monitored by Los Che coach Unai Emery, who could be set to table a bid to lure the attacking midfielder from the Segunda Division side.
However, AS reports that the player is unsure as to where he will be playing next season, so at the moment he is focused on the Verdiblancos and their bid to return to la Primera.
He stated: “The coach told me he wants to count on me, and my future, for now, is at Betis.
“People love to talk, but I like to play football. I always try to give my all for the team. We will see what happens in the future.”
Deportivo la Coruna and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with an offer for the powerful runner, who joined Betis in 2008, but was part of the team that was relegated on the final day of the season.
The Seville club’s financial constraints also mean that a substantial offer for the 28-year-old would likely be accepted, forcing Emana into negotiations with interested parties.
