Fabregas, 23, seemed poised for a switch to the Emirates in the transfer window after telling manager Arsene Wenger of his desire to quit the club. In the end, the Gunners held firm and the World Cup 2010 winner committed his immediate future to the club.
Speaking to AS, Pique remained confident that the midfielder's move is inevitable.
He said: "Cesc will one day sign for Barca."
