Luciano Moggi Applauds Inter & Tells Juventus To Get Rid Of Diego
Moggi full of praise for the Nerazzurri...
By Salvatore Landolina
Luciano Moggi believes Inter have set the standard on the transfer market as he heaps praise on the way they have been moving to reinforce their squad.
Moggi feels the club are leading the way in Serie A as they target Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt and Javier Mascherano and prepare to sell Mario Balotelli and Maicon.
"My applause goes to Inter. The European champions are getting stronger with their operations both outgoing and incoming," he wrote in his Tuttomercatoweb.com column.
"They lose Maicon and Balotelli, agreed, but the buys of Mascherano and Kuyt will maintain the team's physcial presence.
"In fact I think Inter will be stronger from this round of deals."
Moggi, who was a transfer director at Juventus, has offered his advice on operations there.
And he agrees with Giuseppe Marotta's stance on Edin Dzeko after he confirmed the club were pulling out of the race for him. Moggi feels Juventus cannot base all their prosperity on one man.
"The doubts come up in attack. €40 million for Dzeko is crazy. At the same time I would get rid of Diego. He is not suited to Italian football," he added.
"Giving him another season is a lost gamble."
