CSKA Moscow Playmaker Milos Krasic To Join Juventus Before Derby Clash With Spartak - Report

Serbian Krasic looks set to leave before the weekend's derby with Spartak...

RPL: Milos Krasic - CSKA
Serbian international Milos Krasic could make his long awaited switch from CSKA Moscow to Juventus before the weekend's Moscow Derby.

According to Soviet Sport the move is back on after the clubs finally agreed a price which would amount to between €15-17 million, a fee that Juventus had been unwilling to meet for nearly a month.

With Krasic having already struck his personal terms with the Old Lady, the deal could be finalised within the week, meaning he will not be taking any part in the fierce derby between CSKA and Spartak at the weekend. CSKA appear willing to let their feared winger go before the game despite mounting pressure after their weekend loss to Spartak Nalchik. Krasic was not himself during the game, turning in a somewhat average performance, but it may well have been that his mind was elsewhere.

The playmaker has been holding out for a deal from Juventus, despite having big money offers elsewhere in the form of Fenerbache and Manchester City, before recently stating he would be happy to remain in Russia as his dream move faded.

"There would not be a problem if I stay with CSKA. To play for CSKA is very interesting and, if the transfer does not take place, then I look forward to playing in Russia," the midfielder told bobsoccer.ru.

The Serb looks to have got his wish and before the week is out Krasic's switch could be made official.
