Galatasaray Attempt To Steal Roma's Julio Baptista From Olympiacos - Report
Turks look to snap up Brazilian Beast....
By Andrew McLean
Galatasaray will look to tempt Roma with an offer of €5 million plus and Olympiacos might be reluctant to start a bidding war for the Brazilian international; especially after just signing Albert Riera from Liverpool on a similar deal.
Roma will take every penny they can in an attempt to raise funds to sign Nicolas Burdisso from Inter.
Baptista has become worried by the arrival of fellow Brazilian Adriano to the Italian capital as every step Adriano takes towards full fitness sees his opportunities of regular playing time reduced. Last season he was already limited in terms of first team chances, having seen Mirko Vucnicic hit remarkable form.
