The highly rated youngster has apparently attracted the interest of Lyon...

Young defender Sebastien Corchia has attracted the interest of French powerhouse Olympique Lyonnais with his strong performances for Le Mans in the 2009-'10 campaign, if a report in France Football is to be believed.

The Gones are in the market for a new full-back following the ongoing uncertainty about the future of Anthony Reveillere, who is being linked with Atletico Madrid, and head coach Claude Puel supposedly sees Corchia as the ideal replacement in case Reveillere leaves the club.

The 19-year-old Corchia was unable to help Le Mans maintain their top flight status last season. Rather than spend a season in France’s second flight, Corchia has stated that he wants to move and Lyon could very well be his next destination.

However, OL face stiff competition in the race for Corchia's signature. The youngster has also been linked with German champions Bayern Munich, while
Olympique de Marseille, Chelsea and Juventus have all previously been credited with an interest in the teenager, too.
