By Cyrus C. Malek
Fourteen days after Sandro Rosell was confirmed as Barca's new president, Guardiola met with the new Blaugrana supremo to make his verbal agreement with the club official and put pen to paper on his new deal.
Guardiola met with Barca club officials today at the Camp Nou along with his agent, Josep Maria Orobtig, and his assistant coach Tito Vilanova, who also extended his stay in Catalunya along with Guardiola.
The contract extension marks the fourth consecutive season that both Guardiola and Vilanova will have served Barca in a coaching capacity and the third consecutive year the two will head the first team.
Thus Guardiola continues a record-setting tenure at the Camp Nou, where he has led his team to seven titles in the past two seasons, including two Liga titles, a Champions League trophy, a Copa del Rey crown, a Club World Cup championshi, and both the Spanish and European Supercups.
