Real Madrid are planning to wade their way through the financial obstacles that are currently stopping them from landing Maicon from Inter.
AS reports the Spanish giants will do everything to land the Brazilian and they will not stop at anything to attain his services.
So far the move has been blocked following a breakdown in negotiations in relation to Maicon's price. An initial €25 million bid was not enough for the Italians to break off the shackles.
But voices in Spain this morning claim Madrid have found a breakthrough after offering the club €30m for the stopper. Inter are likely to accept the latest proposal and a deal could arrive by Monday.
The Italian champions will then use the money to fund a move for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano, wanted at Inter by Rafael Benitez.
However, Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the Argentine captain.
