Aston Villa Want Fiorentina Goalkeeper Sebastian Frey - Report
The Frenchman is wanted in England...
By Luis Mira
The French custodian has been linked with a new challenge after recently refusing to commit his long-term future to the Viola.
Frey, who has been at the Artemio Franchi since 2005, revealed last month that he needed "new motivations" in his career.
Reports in Italy claim Fiorentina are asking for €7 million for Frey, who would relish the chance to play in a new league after plying his trade in Italy since the age of 18.
Should Frey make a move in the summer, it is believed that Fiorentina have set their sights on Gianluca Curci, who is co-owned by Siena and Roma.
