Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has reportedly become a surprise transfer target for AC Milan.
The centre-half has put in good performances and has been a pivotal presence in the back-line during the Cottagers' conquests en route to the final of the Europa League.
The San Siro giants are believed to be in the market for a top quality centre-half to bolster their back-line, with Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic rumoured to be in line to make a move to Serie A.
However, The Daily Star claims that the Italian club may look to make a move for the Norwegian if the potential transfer of the Serbia international does not reach fruition.
This is not the first time that Hangeland has been linked with a high-profile move away from Fulham, as he was heavily tipped to make a move to Arsenal last summer - but nothing materialised as he was keen to remain at Craven Cottage.
