Adriano Galliani has said he has no intention of leaving Milan to join Juventus, whilst denying reports claiming his relationship with president Silvio Berlusconi is soulless.

Il Riformista, and several other Italian news sites had claimed Galliani would step down from his post as chief executive and vice-president of the club after Berlusconi became annoyed with the signing of Amantino Mancini.

The rumours seem far-fetched though and Galliani has stepped in to offer his view in a written statement.

"I categorically deny the news on Il Riformista which claimed I would move to Juventus or Real Madrid.

"Also, I firmly deny the news from certain agencies that my relationship with Silvio Berlusconi had become strained.

"I have sentimental and strong ties with the president which go back 30 years.

"Signed Adriano Galliani."

Milan clash with Bari on Sunday night as they look to close the gap on second-placed Roma.
