Juventus To Boot Out Several Stars In Summer Shake Up - Report
Struggling stars face chop...
By Salvatore Landolina
Felipe Melo, Amauri and David Trezeguet are just some of the players Juventus will be ousting in major summer changes that will see half of the squad kicked out.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Roberto Bettega has planned next year's squad and there will be wholesale changes.
Melo and Amauri will be sold in an attempt to recover some of the money Juventus paid for them. Trezeguet, Jonathan Zebina and Mauro Camoranesi are the second batch who have been crossed off the list.
Defenders Fabio Cannavaro and Fabio Grosso are uncertainties, and they will not be confirmed as part of future plans. Cristian Molinaro and Tiago, both out on loan, will not be coming back. Michele Paolucci will also leave after being called back from Siena in January.
Martin Caceres and Antonio Candreva represent obstacles. They may not be staying if Juventus fail to bring them in permanently from Barcelona and Udinese respectively.
Alessandro Del Piero, Giorgio Chiellini, Mohamed Sissoko, Sebastian Giovinco, Paolo De Ceglie, Alessandro Del Piero, Nicola Legrottaglie and Gianluigi Buffon will stay.
