Cicinho has re-joined Sao Paulo from Roma on loan until the end of term, the Brazilian club said on Tuesday.

A statement on their official website reads:

"Cicinho is back with Sao Paulo and the AS Roma right-back arrives on loan until June 30.

"If Sao Paulo advance in the Copa Libertadores then Roma have agreed to extend the loan period. We are currently awaiting documents from Roma so we can complete the player's registration."

Cicinho has struggled to earn a regular place under Claudio Ranieri, making just two Serie A appearances this season.

Roma have not confirmed the move their website yet.
