Inter are moving closer to the capture of Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma having made an offer for the player despite his contract rescission plans nearing decision day.

According to Tuttosport, Massimo Moratti has approached the Roman side and has offered €6million plus the services of Rene Khrin as part of a co-ownership deal in return for the Argentinian.

Claudio Lotito is expected to respond to Inter's demands by the end of the day. It is said the Italian chief may accept an offer given that he could lose Ledesma for nothing should the Lega Calcio's Arbitration Panel grant the player his rescission request on January 26.

Ledesma has also been linked with Juventus. But, with the Bianconeri landing Antonio Candreva on Wednesday from Udinese, that move seems unlikely.
