Report: Tottenham Hotspur In The Lead To Sign Real Madrid Striker Ruud van Nistelrooy On Loan

Dutchman heading back to England?

Van Nistelrooy
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to bring in Real Madrid's veteran striker Ruud van Nistelrooy on loan.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is believed to have had a meeting with the Dutchman's agent, Rodger Linse, with a view to signing the player on loan for the rest of the season.

The cockney gaffer reportedly tried to sign Crystal Palace hotshot Victor Moses before realising that Manchester City's millions may prise the starlet away, and is consequently believed to have resorted to experience over youth in the club's push for a top-four finish.

It is claimed that Redknapp is hoping to secure Van Nistelrooy in time to play a part in the trip to Liverpool on Wednesday.
