thumbnail Hello,

Candreva is reportedly set for an exit, but coach Cosmi has other ideas...

Livorno coach Serse Cosmi has clenched his fists in relation to reports claiming midfielder Antonio Candreva was heading for an exit from the Armando Picchi.

Sky Sport Italia claim Candreva is being tracked by a number of top sides with Genoa and Juventus at the centre of attention in the port city.

However, Cosmi is eager to keep Candreva until the end of term. The coach is trying to raise a smokescreen to all the transfer stories in an attempt to keep his men focussed.

"I don't have any problems with him, but all these transfer market stories are distracting him," Cosmi told the press.

"Hearing about Juve, Inter or Fiorentina makes him uncomfortable here at Livorno.

"But, I hope he stays here until June because we need his qualities."

The Amaranto clash with Cagliari on Saturday, but Candreva is likely to start the game from the bench. This has fuelled speculation that he may even leave the club by Monday.
