PSV Eindhoven starlet Ibrahim Afellay is being closely monitored by Juventus, with the Bianconeri interested in acquiring his services.

The attacking midfielder has caught the eye of coach Ciro Ferrara, and his possible replacement, Guus Hiddink, according to Tuttosport.

But the Turin giants will need to fight off Barcelona for the 23-year-old's signature, as they are also in the hunt, trying to get the midfielder to put pen to paper.

Afellay has already played 18 matches for the Dutch national team.

Juventus take on Parma midweek, when the league resumes from the Christmas break.
