Juventus To Make New Offer For Rafinha - Report

The Old Lady to attempt to lure the Brazilian anew...

Rafinha, Schalke 04
Juventus are said to be on the verge of making an offer of up to €12m for Schalke right-back Rafinha, a player for whom they have a long-standing admiration.

The 24-year-old, who signed for the Gelsenkirchen side in 2005, are said to be the favourites to sign the unsettled defender.

Rafinha has recently stated his desire to seek a fresh challenge, with Juventus and Real Madrid being two of his preferred options.

However, with two more years remaining on his current contract, and widespread interest from across Europe, Schalke will not allow him to leave cheaply.

€12m is thought to be the Knappen's starting point for negotiations, although Juventus will hope to bring this down over time.
