Report: Juventus Defender Lorenzo Ariaudo Set For Cagliari Loan Deal

The young centre-back will spend the next six months in Sardinia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A giants Juventus have agreed to loan out promising centre-back Lorienzo Ariaudo to Cagliari during the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old had looked poised to complete a transfer to the Sardinians last summer, but the transaction collapsed at the 11th hour as Juve were busy dealing with French side Olympique Lyonnais to sign Fabio Grosso and failed to submit the necessary paperwork to the Lega Calcio on time.

Ariaudo made three appearances for the Old Lady in Serie A last season and also debuted in the Champions League. The deal with Cagliari should be made official soon after the Calciomercato re-opens in the new year.
