Tunisia Defender Aymen Abdennour Impressing Werder Bremen Coach Thomas Schaaf - Report
The Etoile defender is making a good impression during his trial in Germany.
According to infosfoot.net, Tunisian international left-back
Aymen Abdennour did very well in his first training session of his three day
trial with Werder Bremen. The 20-year-old Etoile Sportive du Sahel player seems
to be on the verge of convincing coach Thomas Schaaf that he should be
recruited during the winter transfer window.
"He is active and has shown what we saw in him from the start. We have to see now if that fits with us,” explained the trainer while speaking to the club’s official website.
Abdennour is scheduled to train with the Bundesliga club for two more days before returning to Sousse. The youngster is expected to be part of Tunisian national team coach Faouzi Benzarti’s squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations which will be revealed on Monday.
He is also the captain of Tunisia’s U-21 side and is considered one of the most promising players at his position in the North African country.
