The Felsinei sporting director has reportedly flown to London to open discussions with the Cottagers.

According to ilcalciomercato.it, Bologna striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo could complete a January move to English outfit Fulham.

The Emiliani director of sport, Fabrizio Salvatori, is allegedly in London to start negotiations with the Craven Cottage side after fellow Premier League team West Ham United apparently pulled out of the hunt for the Argentine hitman.

The ex-Fiorentina man had been frequently associated with the Hammers in the Italian press, but the club’s sporting director Gianluca Nani insisted this week he was no longer a target as boss Gianfranco Zola looks to boost his attacking options.

Osvaldo arrived at Bologna in January 2009 after the Italian minnows paid Fiorentina a €7 million fee and the 23-year-old committed to the Stadio Dall'Ara club until June 2014.

But the ex-Huracan man has failed to make an impression in Emilia Romagna and is well down the pecking order under new boss Franco Colomba this term.
