After warming the bench for most of the current season with Inter, it seems Amantino Mancini could find himself retracing his steps with a move back to Roma.

According to a recent report from Tuttomercatoweb, the Giallorossi are hoping to complete a loan swoop similar to the deal used to bring Nicolas Burdisso to the club during the summer transfer market.

Given the relations between the two clubs, it is believed negotiations shouldn’t prove too lengthy considering the player’s lack of use so far this season.

With coach Claudio Ranieri reported to have asked for some alternative options in attack, it seems such a deal would favour the Lupi, who are still in financial difficulties after having failed to secure new ownership during the summer.
