Milan Director Umberto Gandini: We Want David Beckham Back
The Rossoneri director has confirmed the club are working towards signing Beckham for another loan spell...
On Thursday, Sky Sport Italia claimed a deal between Milan and the Los Angeles Galaxy, Beckham's current club, had been struck.
Those reports have not been officially confirmed, but the Rossoneri believe they are at the front of the queue to sign the England international.
"We've done this before, don't forget. We have good relations with David, his representatives and also Major League Soccer," Gandini told The Sun.
Beckham claimed he had a number of offers on the table, but the director is sure of wrapping up discussions for the player.
"We are very open. We are discussing the possibilities and we are aware of what David is thinking. We think we are going towards a deal," he said.
"He's an icon, a brand. He's a lot of things for many people. For us he's an excellent player and we would like him back."
