Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has revealed he still wants to play for Milan, but has pointed his finger at the Serie A club for not showing enough money during the initial stages of deal.

The Rossoneri failed to meet the Spanish side's €20 million asking fee, offering only €14m. Sevilla ridiculed the Italian club's bid and the deal went up in smoke after a number of high-powered discussions.

On Thursday, Jose Fuentes, Fabiano's agent, was hopeful that a new deal could be instigated, but the Brazilian international star still has his doubts.

"I would like to play for Milan, even though we have not heard from them for a while now," Fabiano is quoted as saying on Goal.com Italia.

"I am sad that the situation is like this, I don't believe in it much now. Milan did well when they talked, but then they disappeared when it came to the money."

Earlier this week, Milan confirmed the potential transfer was "blocked", leaving little hope of talks restarting.
