Inter's Cordoba: It Was ‘Normal’ For Zlatan Ibrahimovic To Kiss The Barcelona Shirt
Ibrahimovic is now the past for Inter players as they say their final goodbyes...
Ibrahimovic kissed the famous badge on a number of occasions during his unveiling at the Camp Nou on Monday evening. The move to embrace the shirt caused controversy among Inter fans, but Cordoba has no problem. The Colombian has reminded the fans that 'Ibra' was not a club legend at Inter.
"He was not here for 10 years and so I think it's something normal [to kiss the shirt]," Cordoba told Sky Sport Italia as the Inter team returned from the USA tour.
Javier Zanetti, the captain, was indifferent to the striker's exit. The Argentinean has buried the 'Ibra' affair completely.
"I would prefer not to comment on players. Ibrahimovic is the past now, we have to focus on the future," added the captain.
Materazzi was more kind to the lanky hitman, showing his gratitude.
"I'd like to thank Ibrahimovic for helping us win three Scudetti. Now we have to think about [Samuel] Eto'o," added the Italian.
