OFFICIAL: Lucarelli Leaves Parma To Rejoin Livorno
The experienced hitman will be playing for the Amaranto again this coming season.
After weeks of speculation, Cristiano Lucarelli is on his way back to Livorno, after a one-year stint with Parma in the Italian Serie B.
Lucarelli returns to the club after leaving in 2007, when he joined Shakhtar Donetsk to test his luck abroad and in the UEFA Champions League.
The decision regarding the signing of the 33-year old hitman was officially announced on the Livorno website late last night, but it has been reported that the exact terms and details are yet to be finalised.
The attacker has been linked to a number of clubs this summer, including Fiorentina, who he was tipped to join in the early stages of the transfer period.
However, he will return to his old hunting ground, where he managed to score an outstanding 92 goals in 146 appearances during his first stint.
Lucarelli will be unveiled at 11:00 CET today, at the Continental in Tirrenia.
