Benfica Eye Napoli Striker German Denis - Report
The Portuguese club have reportedly set their sights on 'The Tank'...
Benfica are desperate to add to their attacking options and are currently looking at alternatives after dropping out of the race for River Plate's Radamel Falcao.
According to OLE, German Denis is the next man on Benfica's list of options to bolster the attacking sector, which has already been reinforced by Javier Saviola from Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old striker, who joined Napoli from Independiente last summer for €6.3 million, has not impressed for the Italian club, scoring just eight goals in 37 appearances in his first season in Europe, and is reportedly available for transfer.
No formal approach has yet been made for Denis, who was close to joining Portuguese side Belenenses in 2003.
