Lazio Preparing An Offer For Adel Taarabt - Report
The Italian outfit are ready to spend as much as €6 million on the Moroccan midfielder in order to meet Tottenham’s valuation of their asset.
According to Mountakhab.net, Adel Taarabt has been drawing
more and more interest from Lazio following the news that his potential loan deal
which would have sent him to Malaga had been called off.
In fact, the Italian Serie A team are reportedly ready to meet Tottenham’s asking price of €6 million in order to acquire the Fes native in a transfer deal which would undoubtedly please the player who has made no secret of his desire to leave Tottenham in search of more playing time and stability.
Meanwhile, the footballer recently had an interview in which he expressed his preference for Spain while admitting that playing for Lazio, or Sporting CP who are also interested, would be a pleasure.
“I know that Lazio and Sporting are interested and that they’re in contact with the club. Of course I’d be thrilled to play in Portugal with Sporting or in Italy with Lazio… but I have to say that my thing would be to go play in Spain,” he explained.
Taarabt also had interesting things to say about his price tag as he announced that in terms of talent he is worth the money but as far as his accomplishments over the past two seasons he honestly doesn’t think he is.
