Atletico Madrid Set Benfica Deadline For Jose Antonio Reyes
The Eagles have until Saturday to make an offer for the winger...
However, Benfica have so far failed to reach a compromise with Atletico, who continue demanding €6.5 million to let go of Reyes.
The Spanish club's president, Enrique Cerezo, has now declared that if an offer for Reyes does not arrive by Saturday, the former Arsenal man will not leave the Vicente Calderon.
"So far, Benfica have told us nothing," he told Record. "If the club's officials tell us nothing until the [July]11th, the player will join up with the Atletico squad.
"I believe if there are no changes by that date, the player will not leave."
