Report: Fiorentina Want Inter Striker David Suazo On Loan
The Gigliati have reportedly contacted the Nerazzurri to sign the Honduran international...
The player is said to be prepared to have a cut his wages (€3million per season) in order to move to the Stadio Franchi and the Viola are now awaiting an answer from the Italian champions.
The reported request presumably ends Fiorentina’s interest in Inter's out-of-contract Argentine striker, Julio Cruz.
The Tuscans were said to be in talks with ‘El Jardinero’, who is a free agent after the expiration of his deal with Inter, but the parties have failed to come to an agreement, as the Viola were apparently unwilling to meet his demands for a two-year contract.
Suazo spent last season on loan at Portuguese club Benfica, who opted not to make the transfer permanent after he underwent meniscus surgery in March.
Another alternative for the Gigliati’s front line is Torino man Rolando Bianchi, who is unlikely to remain at the Olimpico after the Granata were relegated to Serie B last season.
