Lyon Looking To Capture Lisandro Lopez And Aly Cissokho - Report
The French club are reportedly looking to sign two players from Porto...
Lyon's director of communications, Olivier Blanc, revealed on Thursday that the club's chairman, Jean-Michel Aulas, was expected in Oporto on Thursday to conduct negotiations for the Dragons' striker, Lisandro Lopez.
However, according to news daily O JOGO, Aulas will not meet with Porto officials until Sunday.
The Portuguese paper further claims that Lyon are interested not only in Lisandro, whom they are reportedly lining up a €20 million offer for, but also in Aly Cissokho.
Interest in the French left-back is not recent, as Lyon had already engaged in negotiations with Porto for the defender, whose transfer to AC Milan collapsed due a failed medical.
At that time, however, Lyon lodged just a €6 million bid for Cissokho, which fell short of the valuation made by the Portuguese champions.
It is believed that Aulas is now equipped to make a higher bid for Cissokho after selling Karim Benzema to Real Madrid, and he could well tie up two deals at once.
