Fulham are hoping to raid Premier League rivals Manchester City for the signature of Jo during the close-season, according to a report in the British tabloid The Daily Mirror.
It is unclear whether the Cottagers are looking to snap up the 22-year-old on loan or permanently, and it is also unknown whether the Citizens plan to cash-in on the 6ft 2in striker or would rather he was loaned out to gain more Premier League experience.
It was claimed, around ten days ago, that the west London-based outfit were preparing an £8 million bid for the three-time capped Brazil international. And, it has also been reported that he may be used as a make-weight, should City attempt to prise Joleon Lescott away from Everton.
After moving to Eastlands for £18m from CSKA Moscow last summer, Jo's City career got off to a promising start when he found the back of the net three times in his first six appearances.
However, the former Corinthians star struggled for form thereafter and was loaned out to Everton for the latter part of the 2008/09 campaign, where he scored five times in 13 games.
