Report: Fabio Quagliarella & Luca Cigarini To Sign For Napoli Tomorrow
The Vesuviani are set to complete the first two acquisitions of the close season...
Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini and Udinese striker Fabio Quagliarella will put pen to paper on their new Napoli contracts tomorrow, according to TuttoNapoli.net.
Rumours started on Friday and the duo are expected in Naples on Monday to undergo a medical and sign on the dotted line, before being presented to the press by the end of the week.
It is suggested that Napoli will pay around €11 million for Cigarini’s services that are co-owned by Atalanta and Parma.
The Partenopei had already struck a deal with the Orobici who will get €4m in cash plus the full rights to defender Gyorgy Garics, while Parma have settled for €5.5m.
Quagliarella will cost the Campani around €16m in cash plus the remaining half of defender Maurizio Domizzi who joined the Friulans in a co-ownership deal last summer.
Napoli have beaten off fierce competition from the likes of Juventus and Inter to secure the services of the Italian international striker, who was born in the province of Naples and has always stressed his support for the Azzurri colours.
