Michael Turner has moved to commit himself to Hull City following recent speculation linking him with a transfer away from the club during the close-season.
It has been reported that Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in acquiring the 6ft 4in centre-back's services.
The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2008-09 campaign, helping the Tigers maintain their Premier League status and even being tipped to break into the England squad.
However, the Lewisham-born defender, who spent several months with Italian giants Inter's Under-19 squad as part of a link with his former side Charlton Athletic, has quashed rumours that he will leave the KC Stadium this summer.
"Earlier in the season I signed a four-year deal and that says it all," Turner is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"I've been desperate for this club to stay up and having done that it's a great achievement.
"This club wants to really push on from here and become an established Premier League side and I want to be part of that."
