The Tukkers have denied a deal has been agreed, but it seems the Blues are edging Inter to the 20-year-old Austria international forward's signature...
The 20-year-old forward, who scored 12 goals in 28 Eredivisie appearances during the 2008/09 season, has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A giants Inter recently.
However, it appears that the four-time capped Austria international has opted to move to Stamford Bridge rather than the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Although the report claims that the Blues have agreed a deal with the versatile attacker, who can play on the wing as well as through the middle, Twente have denied that an accord has been reached.
It seems that the Tukkers are holding out for a fee in excess of €15 million (£13.2m), while the west London club are reluctant to pay more than €12m (£10.5m).
Either way, should a transfer in the region of the aforementioned prices be completed, it would represent a club record for the Dutch outfit.
